Temflex

I discussed insulation of the + spade connection at the horn with one of the staff at my local electronics store. He recommended 3M Temflex 2155 Rubber Splicing Tape. He says that "the radio guys" use it to wrap their outdoor connections. The tape is somewhat thick and rubbery, and is hardly sticky at all to the touch. It seems that you stretch it (it stretches quite a bit!) when you apply it, and a chemical action will create a seal. I'll watch to see how it holds up.
